ROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF NAVIGATION OF THE RETOURN WEBSITE AND EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM

INFORMATION PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 13 OF EU REGULATION N. 2016/679

The University of Macerata (UNIMC), within the scope of its institutional purposes and in fulfillment of the obligations established by article 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter GDPR), provides you with information regarding the processing of personal data in order to navigate the website www.retourn.eu  and access and use the educational platform integrated in this domain.

  1. DATA CONTROLLER.

The Data Controller is the University of Macerata, with headquarters in 62100 Macerata (MC), at via Crescimbeni nn. 30/32, telephone 0733.2581, e-mail urp@unimc.it, PEC: ateneo@pec.unimc.it.

  1. DATA PROTECTION OFFICER.

The University has appointed the Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at the e-mail address: dpo@unimc.it  or by PEC: dpo@pec.unimc.it.

  1. 3. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING.

The data provided in order to navigate the site and access the educational platform are processed, collected and stored by the University of Macerata for the sole purpose of measuring the results of the project, co-financed by the European Commission, and are not made accessible or transferred to third parts.

  1. TRANSFER OF DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY THAN THE EU OR AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION.

The personal data collected are not transferred to countries outside the EU or to international organisations.

  1. PERIOD OF CONSERVATION OF PERSONAL DATA.

The personal data collected will be retained for a period of five years starting from 04/01/2022.

  1. RIGHTS.

The interested party has the right to request from the University of Macerata, as Data Controller, pursuant to articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 of the GDPR:

a) access to your personal data and all the information referred to in Article 15 of the GDPR;

b) the rectification of inaccurate personal data and the integration of incomplete ones;

c) the deletion of one’s data, except for those contained in documents that must be retained by the University and unless there is an overriding legitimate reason to proceed with the processing;

d) the limitation of processing where one of the hypotheses referred to in Article 18 of the GDPR occurs

The interested party has also the right:

a) to oppose the processing of their personal data, without prejudice to the provisions regarding the necessity and obligatory nature of the processing for the purposes of establishing the relationship;

b) to request the portability of your personal data.

The request can be presented, without any formality, by contacting the data controller directly at the e-mail address urp@unimc.it or at the PEC address: ateneo@pec.unimc.it.

  1. COMPLAINT TO THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY.

The interested party who believes that the processing concerning him/her violates the GDPR may, at any time, without prejudice to any other administrative or jurisdictional appeal, lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Guarantor for the protection of personal data).

  1. PROVISION OF DATA. (Indicate the provision of data only where necessary)

Il conferimento dei dati personali è facoltativo. Tuttavia il mancato conferimento potrebbe pregiudicare lo svolgimento del procedimento: le segnalazioni anonime, infatti, verranno prese in considerazione solo ove si presentino adeguatamente circostanziate e rese con dovizia di particolari, in modo da far emergere fatti e situazioni connessi a contesti determinati.

The processing covered by this information does not involve any automated decision-making process, including profiling, which may have effects in the legal sphere of the interested party.
